Father’s Day marks the beginning of summer, which also opens the barbequing season. So what better time to give dad a new tool set for making those delicious family barbeques? Here are our suggestions for creating a great “Grilling Master” basket:

A medium sized wooden basket - you can find it at almost all arts and crafts stores and sometimes even at your local supermarket Barbeque sets - you can get individual tools or actual grilling sets, depending on what your preferences are

Spices and Sauces - anything from meat seasoning to Hickory sauce and stake sauce

Green “Easter grass” - to fill the bottom of the basket

A teddy bear or any other cute stuffed animal - to bring life and joy to the basket

A hand made card or drawing created by the kids - where all of you can wish dad all the best and show him your love

Start putting the basket together by placing the “Easter grass” on the bottom of the basket. Then arrange the “big stuff” first. Lean all the tools on the edges of the basket in a circular way. You can use some tape or wires to tie them to the edges, to hold them in place. Next, take the teddy bear and place it right in the middle of the basket, as your centerpiece. Arrange all the small items such as the spices and sauces all around. Leave some room though for the card. So, try to keep the teddy’s arm visible, as this is the best place for the card or drawing. With everything in place, you have yourself a great looking basket and a present dad will absolutely love!

The “Outdoor Lover” Gift Basket

Ok, dad might not be the grilling master, but that does not mean he is not gift-basket material. If summer is all about the outdoor vacations with your dad then prepare a special activities gift basket. Hiking, fishing and canoeing are just a few of the family-fun activities dad can enjoy during summer. So get all the fun together with the help of this basket. What you will need:
